My latest work with the Sudowrite AI.
Topic: The Metaversity Title (optional): The Collaborator
Output (First five lines my own):
The Collaborator
I saw her once or twice
in passing
I saw her dance too
And thought
If only she could finish every sentence
with a word like “love”
If only she could sing her own name
in every song
If only she could say “yes” to everything
Just once, and then never again.
The image created by the same AI to reflect the poem
I am adding another poem.
Topic: Alienation Title (optional): Alien Nation
Output (First five lines my own): [Edited 'The same way I hate you' - originally 'In the same way...']
Alien Nation
I ripped it up
The contract
Don't hate me
I hate me
The same way I hate you
How can I hate you
If you don't exist
I am a ghost
In your body
A molecule in the vicinity of your soul.
Like a cell phone tower
You required no signal from me to exist. You were invented
by me, born out of my need for you.
I am the invention of you
You are the invention of me.
I am a ghost in your body
A molecule in the vicinity of your soul
I am the invention of you
You are the invention of me.
I am a ghost in your body
A molecule in the vicinity of your soul

This final image reminds me of a project 8kbo and I are simulating next month--an experiment in poetry translation we are calling a transfiguration of mirrors. From Ancient Greek to Latin to Medieval Italian to contemporary International English--resurrected with the help of artificial intelligences and encyclopedias.
