*translation of the opening lines of Bardo Thodol**
Work with devotion, and then rest.
That's an order.
What will the Crowley translation change about the Book of Theseus?
What will it preserve?
What will it cause?

Homo Solaris awoke before sunrise and drifted through the comfort of bed, thinking: not-thinking, being non-being. Nothing from outside himself had pulled his consciousness up, it was rising of its own, moving with the grooves of the circadian rhythm. The Sun Man had worked hard to protect that essential life pattern, and the benefits went far beyond his own conscious ability to map it. He knew this, though even with his great imagination could not see the full cumulative effect of history --and each morning some new kind of gratitude would visit his awakening mind with the feeling, “this is good, this is right, bless you for keeping this way sacred.”
